reEnvisionRepair celebrates the art of preservation by highlighting the work of local repair shops within our community.

We are a volunteer-run group of writers, photographers, and sustainability experts seeking to showcase the work of local businesses who combat wastefulness through the art of repair.

Since 2018, we’ve interviewed and photographed proprietors of 40+ repair shops in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their specialties range from mending hats to repairing flagpoles to restoring silver objects and skateboards. Now we’re looking for ways to share their stories with the world!

reEnvisionRepair partners with local publications and organizations to shine a light on these vital small businesses.
